No email field in "Share" interface for prototype?

Hi, 

I’ve previously shared this prototype with external users using the email field. But now I can’t add any other people, nor can I change the link setting which says “Anyone can view.”  

Is the lack of an email field and no ability to change the setting to require a pw a bug or am I missing something?

I should also note that the prototype share screen for an older file has all the expected fields: email, ability to change access settings and multiple levels of them. When I tried moving my prototype to a new design file, the prototype settings were still missing.

Sorry to hear you’re experiencing the issue. Do you know if someone on your team might have changed the file sharing settings? One possibility is that the setting only applies to viewers. You can find more details here: Restrict Copying and Sharing on Files.

If the issue persists, could you reach out directly to the support team with a copy of your file: https://help.figma.com/hc/en-us/requests/new? Our support team will look into it.

Please make sure you use the email associated with your Figma account, include links to the file in question, and share access with support-share@figma.com. Don't worry, inviting us to view your file won't impact your billing.
