Link to component instances

Using ⌘ + L you can get links to Frames, Pages, and Sections but not component instances?

I have some screens that are themselves components, and not being able to link directly to them without embedding them in a frame feels like a bug / oversight.

When I press Command + L on a component instance I get a link with these two parameters “?node-id=1-5120&node-type=instance” which navigates to that instance node

Ah I see that you’re right. That means the functionality is there, but there’s a bug in Figma where the message is “Page link copied” instead of “Instance link copied”
