Hello, I would like to ask, is it possible, if i am an owner of a team, then i delete the team if i no longer use it? And if it is possible, does it affect any files inside the team and the members in the team, will they automatically lost access to the files inside the team too? Because I don’t see any options in Figma to block a certain email or user, but i don’t want them to keep asking for request in my file team, aside from deny, is it possible to say that I as the owner have left the team hence cannot approve nor deny access, or perhaps if it is another way for Figma to change the link of my file? Thank you
Hi
I would like to ask, is it possible, if i am an owner of a team, then i delete the team if i no longer use it?  And if it is possible, does it affect any files inside the team and the members in the team, will they automatically lost access to the files inside the team too?
Yes, as the owner of a team, you can delete the team if you no longer need it.
Please keep in mind when you delete the team, Figma will automatically:
- Remove the team for all team members (So they will no longer have access to anything associated with that team. They will lose access to these files unless you share them in another location or transfer ownership before deleting the team.)
- Any files inside the team will be also deleted. (Unless you move them to a different location or/and you export the files before deletion.)
- Permanently delete any projects (these can't be recovered)
- Send any files to the deleted tab of your account
- Send an email to confirm the team was deleted

Unfortunately, Figma doesn’t offer a direct option to block specific users or emails. To prevent ongoing access requests to your files, I confirm that one possible solution is to leave the team. If you're no longer managing or maintaining the team, you can transfer ownership to someone else and leave the team. Once you've left, you won’t receive any more access requests. Here’s our guide on how to transfer ownership of a team.
Another workaround is to duplicate your files and generate new share links. Then, you can remove or restrict sharing of the original files to prevent users from accessing old links.
