 I added a new change in Figma make, my credits got consumed but I do the see the change in the UI nor the version got updated nor can i see my last request in the chat history

I wanted to open a discussion about how Figma handles seat management for Organization plans. We recently went through some internal restructuring, leaving us with several unoccupied annual seats. When we needed to add new users with a different seat type for collaboration, I reached out to support hoping we could reallocate the funds from the unused seats we had already paid for. Support clarified that mid-term reallocation or internal credits aren't possible. This means we have to purchase new seats out-of-pocket while our existing paid seats sit empty until the next yearly renewal. Has anyone else experienced this friction with scaling teams in Figma? It would be great to see them implement a more flexible budget reallocation system for enterprise users to avoid this inefficiency.

Shaders stopped working completely on my Mac (M1 Pro, macOS latest). Both built-in and custom shaders show nothing on canvas. Layer thumbnail intermittently appears and disappears.What I've ruled out:- Browser: Chrome, Safari, Edge, incognito — all fail- Account: other accounts on same machine also fail; other users on same file see shaders fine- System: macOS updated, NVRAM reset, Metal shader cache cleared- WebGPU: confirmed working on third-party demos, Metal compilation logs show 100% SUCCESS- VPN/network: excludedThis appears to be a Figma-specific WebGPU shader pipeline bug on this hardware/driver combo. Any help or similar experiences?

Figma Motion is a great feature, and I know it's still in beta. However, please fix this issue the current time input box overlaps other UI elements, which affects usability.

I copy a frame as an image and try to paste that image into a fill image property of another frame but this doesn’t work anymore. Even copy image from other source (from the browser, from computer) isn’t working too. I’m using Figma app on Windows

Hi, I’ve been trying to contact the sales team to upgrade to an organisation plan. But they haven’t been replying to me at all what’s going on with customer service? I need the upgrade asap I’m a freelancer with a limited company that needs it. 

I would like to use the private NPM registry feature but before I do I have two quick questions:Is the auth token provided in Resources → npm registry → “View Configuration” generated per-user, as in is it specific to me or is it the same for all admins? Can I cycle or regenerate that token if necessary? If so, how?Thank you! 

The new Folder REST APIs doesn't work with personal access tokens, I am getting 404 on valid requests.Previously I was doing GET /v1/teams/:team_id/projects, then GET /v1/projects/:project_id/files. This still works correctly with an older PAT containing projects:read.After Projects were renamed to Folders, for newly generated PATs I select folders:read permission instead, as projects:read was removed from the UI. The new endpoints—GET /v2/teams/:team_id/folders and GET /v2/folders/:folder_id/files—both return 404 Not found.This leaves new tokens with no working way to discover files in a team.It broke our workflow completely, is there a chance this issue will be resolved soon?

Our team is on the Organization plan (annual billing), and we're trying to get in touch with our Account Manager [redacted by moderator to remove personal information] regarding some questions about the Additional AI Credits plan. Unfortunately, we haven't been able to reach them, and we also can't find a direct way to contact the sales team. As of today, my naming structure for components produces leading/trailing spaces in exports when it didn’t previously.Component name: “Documentation / 1A. Screen Example” This used to export like this:Folder “Documentation” containing “1A. Screen Example.pdf” But now, it exports like this:Folder “Documentation ” containing “ 1A. Screen Example.pdf” Until today, I’ve never run into an issue with exports doing this and my components have been named this way in bulk for several years. Is there a way to fix this issue?

I’m using the Figma agent beta in Figma Design and got an out of daily credits message. My AI balance still shows credits remaining, so this appears separate from regular AI credits (Figma Make). I do not see a reset time, Learn more link, or any way to track the beta’s daily limit. Can someone confirm the daily limit for the beta and whether there is a way to view remaining usage?I’m on starter plan. I have 20/500 credits left according to my usage plans (after relogging).

I have a few lost files. I’m missing 3 important design files from my Figma account. I looked at my drafts, recents and trash/deleted files section and its not there. They’re all made by me and I had a link the prototype because I had it linked to my old portfolio and it says “Prototype not found. Either this file doesn’t exist or you don’t have permission to view it. Ask the file owner to verify the link and/or update permissions.”This project used through this email so I’m confused where it went. I noticed a few other files were lost but the three that’s not working on my portfolio were case studies and really important project files so I’m hoping to get it back or get at least some answers.

One thing that really bothers me about working with this junk is that it’s become so widespread that it’s now the standard. Even something as simple as pasting within a frame is almost impossible these days—even if I repeat the process 100 times, sometimes it works and other times I have to navigate through every panel until I find the right frame. It’s a nightmare! I just hope a competitor comes along that’s good enough to put an end to this software, which has become way too bloated to handle the basics.

I’m currently testing the Slots feature and ran into an issue with how content and layout behave across states.In my setup, I’m using an internal element slot that is shared across multiple states (default, error, and hover). I’ve added additional content inside the slot (multiple lines), and everything works as expected in the base state.However, in the instance, when switching to the hover state, the slot does not preserve the injected content. Instead, it resets to the default version of that state (e.g., a single line), ignoring the extra items I previously added.Additionally, I’m using this component nested inside another component that also contains a slot. I have a Cell component (for tables), and in variants, the cell can contain inputs, which are a component on their own. This means I have a component within a component, and up to here all works fine. I create a Row component for a specific data-table, which contains multiple cells, some of them have the input variant, and I populate a table with instances of this Row component, and on this table, when I attempt to override the cell content of those inputs, the override does not work. Overriding content on those cells that are just text works fine, but when it involves the input cells, or buttons (component within component within component) it does not work. I have tested this in multiple instances, and it is clear that overrides for components that are nested in components which are themselves within a component (3 layers) cannot have any property edited.overriden.I have created workarounds, but would be nice to have a fix for this limitation in Figma. 

Prototyping just isn’t working as expected I’ve tried refreshing the tab, dumping cache, I’ve broken it down and rebuild it 5 times. I’ve even threatened the thing. I can’t get it to work any ideas  or suggestions would be deeply appreciated

I am experiencing an issue with my student verification status on my Figma account.My student verification was approved through SheerID on Aug 13 , 2026, under my university email but when logged in i don’t get to see the student benifits available to me please help me out it’s an urgent 

I am creating a personal hub where tiles link to various places related to my workflow. Some of these tiles link to Figma files, but Figma Make’s AI agent won’t let me paste Figma URLs in the chat box. I had to bypass it by breaking the URL with specific characters while asking the Figma Make agent to remove those specific characters (Example: giving the agent https://www.figmddda.com/design/WIM and telling it to remove the ‘ddd’). A better solution is Figma just allows us to paste in Figma links then add a dialogue explaining situations where pasting Figma frames would be better - because my situation needs the Figma URL, not a frame.

Hey team, I’m trying to publish a Figma Make template for my organization to use. I’ve got it in a great state, but I can’t select a Make Kit to add. This is important, as the template will be used by others on my team, and I want to have kits pre-installed. Left sidebar in Figma MakeI see it in other Figma Make files, just not the one that I have all the edits and context for. See a different file: Is it because my Make file is older? I did start this file a few months ago.​​​​​​
