Question

Broken gradient (Tokens)

Hi there,

I have an issue with a gradient which is connected to tokens on the one hand, but on the other hand, it’s not visible in Dev Mode. It should be a white (A) to transparent (B) gradient.

Gradient in the file (tokenised):

  • A: “White Token” to
  • B: “Transparent Token”

But in Dev Mode:

  • A: #fff to
  • B: #fff

Cheers!

PS: I can’t attach screenshots.

Again. It seems that Figma is not able to connect tokens within a gradient. I can connect them, but the output in dev mode will be the HEX codes.

So instead of having two variables as output, I get two hex codes.

Whoop, whoop! Anyone?

Gradient with two connected variables:

… turning to hex codes in Dev Mode:

Output should be two variables instead of hex codes.

Any progress whit this issue? I have the same problem.
For me its a bit frustrating that Figma give us a solution to connect variables for gradient start and end point, but it can’t work on dev mode. 😦
It is really important when we work on a design and hand it over to the developers.

Meanwhile I found another open ticket about this issue, where Figma support says that there will be an update what will solve this issue.
