Is there anyway to bring back the black background for the figma icon?

Hello,  I recently submitted my public OAuth app for review, and have included a testing URL and detailed instructions for the team to test with, but I had a fundamental question about testing - if the app is not approved, that means the OAuth flow will only work for my own account (i.e. the same account that submitted the app). For the OAuth flow to work for any other Figma login, the app has to be published in public mode. If that is the case, how will the review team be able to test the app before it is approved? What am I missing here?

When I draw a straight line, the coordinate of the line remains on the edge even when i set the stroke position to centre. This make it difficult to align perfectly. See this example where I am making a cross. Alignment is imperfect even when I use the align tools. You can see the bounding box of the line is on the edge rather than the centre. Can I fix this?Object aligns to the selection bounding box rather than centre of line. This is the result of align both lines with the position align options. I’m trying to make a perfect cross, this is the result. 

Hi, I am completely stuck on a prototype scaling issue and need some help.My SVG logo was rendering massively in my prototype, so I completely deleted it and started fresh. Here are the exact steps I took: Deleted the old logo completely from the layers panel. Re-imported the SVG onto the canvas. Selected the Parent Frame of the SVG. Used the Scale Tool (K) to shrink it down (the blue bounding box scaled correctly). Nested the scaled layer inside my "Landing Page - Desktop" frame. Hit Present to test the prototype. Despite doing all of this, the prototype is still showing a massive, cut-off version of the logo (just the giant pink letters).Is this a known bug in Figma? How do I get the prototype to actually respect the scaled logo size?

I have a plugin which is in live. I have used manifest file to install the plugin and published it. Now i have upgraded the plugin, i tested it locally and i wanted to update that to my live plugin using manifest. How to do that?

Recently, I tried to animate my logo in Figma Motion. All the elements were separated into vector layers, and I wanted the red circle to act as a mask that gradually reveals the entire letter as it expands. However, I couldn't get the circle to scale correctly, and the canvas handles were also unresponsive.

Hello Figma Team,Last month, I made a payment of $5.50 USD on July 29, 2026 because I wanted to use more of Figma’s features.However, this month I was suddenly charged a total of $30.51 USD. I did not request or approve any plan change, so I was very surprised by this unexpected charge.As a student, $30.51 USD is a significant financial burden for me, and I would like to request a refund.After the payment was made, I cancelled the plan and have not used the paid features. I have a component that has some lines in it. The lines are spaced out with a specific ratio. The idea is that I can use these lines and scale the component while keeping the ratio between the lines the same when I scale the component up or down. I can’t seem to get my head around this. For context it is to be used in a graph.  I have tried farming the lines, I have used the scale property, the Left+Right property and even the Center property and none of the above worked.I have tried to use boxes as spacers between the lines. I can get the boxes to scale correctly, however the lines will not follow the boxes:  Thanks for any input - it will be valued very much!

I’m trying to get an auto layout frame with two text boxes in it expand upwards when text is added, and have the text stay aligned to the top of the box, rather than extend the box downwards.I can get this working with the text only by changing the auto layout alignment, but as soon as I fill the frame with a colour, it doesn’t seem to work.The reason for this is I need keep the horizontal gap consistent across the image, so effectively, the top two boxes (red and blue) expand upwards when text is added, and the bottom two boxes (yellow and green) expand downwards.The current build I’ve got them to expand downwards only, so the horizontal gap breaks if the boxes are different heights. I’m using auto layout on the left and right columns, which are then in an auto layout with the heading to make sure everything stays central in the image when text is added.The images - first pic is the template with nothing added. Hi everyone,I'm currently cleaning up and standardizing token mapping across our design system, and I've run into a variable/mode issue that I can't explain.I have an Accordion component that should be mapped exclusively to our Gifted variable collection.When I inspect the component and click into the variable bindings, everything appears correct. The variables are bound to the expected tokens within the Gifted collection.However, when I look at the Modes section in the right-hand panel, Figma shows that the component is also tied to the Common Components collection, which shouldn't be happening.What's confusing is that, after further investigation, it seems the issue may be related to a success state icon variable. The problem is:The Accordion component doesn't appear to have any success state icon variables in its variable assignments. The success state icon variable only exists in the Gifted collection. There isn't a corresponding success state icon variable in the Common Components

For context, all the components needs to be binding to “Whitelabel ONLY” variable collection only. The problem is as follows… - clicked on parts of the component that shows binding to three different collection to investigate what other wrong binding is in the mix - clicked each individual parts of the components to check for incorrect binding (in this case: component common and gifted only) - they all show that they are binding to the correct collection, which is Whitelabel ONLY  - I clicked out to the parent level, only to see that it still shows the incorrect bindings!  - so the problem is, i dont know which part is still binded to the wrong collection?!  because on individual level, they all show the correct binding, but when clicked together, it shows incorrect binding to three different collections   PLEASE HELP, I need to handle three different component binding collections cleanly, multiplied the above situation is driving me crazy!   

Hi, I’m trying to recover some screens that were created by the Figma Agent and later deleted during the same Agent workflow.I asked the Agent to analyze an existing user flow, identify navigation/path issues, and create the missing or corrected screens needed to fix those issues.The Agent successfully generated several screens directly in my Figma file. I saw the screens on the canvas and they contained work that I need to recover.However, while continuing to work with the Agent, those screens were subsequently deleted/removed by the Agent.I tried using Version History to restore an earlier state of the file, but the generated screens do not appear in any of the available versions. I cannot find a version corresponding to the moment when those screens existed on the canvas.Is there any separate history, log, checkpoint, or recovery mechanism for changes made by the Figma Agent?In particular, I would like to know whether it is possible to:recover objects/screens created and subsequentl

I don’t know if this is a bug or simply a feature I don’t get: Shadows look completely different when applied to a shape with a fill vs. an auto layout of the same dimensions with the same fill. Even stranger, when clip content is applied to the auto layout the shadow looks the same as it does on the shape.Is there anything I can do to ensure a shadow renders the same whether or not it is applied to a shape, a frame or other object? And what’s with the clip content difference? I would have expected the shadow to look different with clip content enabled, not the other way around.I’d be much obliged if anyone could enlighten me. 

I’m currently working on custom box layouts and product packaging designs for client projects (specifically inspired by structural dieline standards from sites like https://zeepackaging.com/.While Figma is amazing for UI/UX, I’m running into a workflow issue when preparing print-ready dielines for manufacturing: CMYK & Spot Color Export: Figma natively exports in RGB, which causes color shifting when sent to commercial packaging printers. How are you handling CMYK conversion without destroying component styles? Bleed & Trim Lines Setup: What is the best practice for setting up bleed boundaries (3mm/0.125") and fold/score lines inside Figma components so they don't get displaced during auto-layout adjustments? Vector Precision for Dielines: Is it better to draw cut/crease lines directly in Figma or import vector dielines via SVG from Illustrator? If anyone has an efficient workflow or plugin recommendation for packaging design export in Figma, I’d love to hear your insights!

Hi everyone,I permanently deleted some files in Figma trash, but I also want to make sure that these files are deleted from the Figma server.I don’t know if permanently deleted files in trash means that these files are also deleted from the server? Or the files are still stored on the server?I’ve attempted to contact Figma team by submit a support request as ticket(#2095775) through AI support chat. But it’s been a week, I haven’t received any reply email. Is there a better way to contact related team to solve my request?

Hi there!We have a large multibrand system with 17 brands which i’ve inherited. Each brand has 2 primitive collections (standard + colours), and then the semantic collection which houses each brand as a mode.There was no planning for inverse/knockout variants of components, so those needing an on-dark or a flexible background colour (and corresponding text colours) which of course we now need for some brands.In the case of our footer, i had created knockout tokens to sit in the existing eg: font/colour/interactive/text button group and then created a new variant of the footer to map them too and added a boolean switch between the default and inverse themes. But is there another way (without refactoring all of our tokens)
