In my Toggle Switch component, I have a mix of properties (variants and booleans). I’m able to reorder the variants but it seems I cannot reorder the boolean. I want the order of my properties to be:Variant - “State”Boolean - “Label”Variant - “Label Position”Is this possible?

Hello everyone!Somehow Figma design started to show tags on video in canvas. Not in jam, not in dev mode or prototype, just basic canvas.Didn’t find any options to turn it off, figma support agent didn’t help.I have no HTML tags option in right sidebar, no annotations enabled and such, how can I turn them off? 

I submitted my plugin for review on March 8th, and as of today (March 27th) I still haven't received any feedback from the Figma team. No approval, rejection, or requests for changes.That's over 20 days of waiting, while the submission form indicated a turnaround of 5-10 business days.Could anyone share how long the review process is currently taking? Is this wait time normal right now, or should I follow up somewhere specific?

I’m trying to copy and paste from Adobe Illustrator to Figma without the text being converted into outlines. The content is a mixture of vector graphics and editable text. Due to the amount of text, the Figma prototype I’m working on becomes jerky and slow. This would not be a problem if the text existed as editable text.I have tried 2 plugins to resolve it. Convertify was useless and converted all of the text to outlines. Illustrator Importer was better, managing to import the text as editable, but it added anomalies such as incorrect font sizes, weights, alignment, etc.Manually recreating the text in Figma would take far too long and I just don’t consider it to be a viable solution. This is unworkable due to the layout of the text, rather than the amount of text.Does anyone know of a way to import from Illustrator with the text remaining editable (not converted to outlines)?–I miss Adobe XD, which didn’t have any of these problem

I am writing to request a full refund for a recent subscription charge of $27 that occurred on 2026-03-08. This charge was entirely unexpected as I no longer have a need for the service and had intended to cancel the subscription prior to the renewal date. Unfortunately, I overlooked the cancellation process, and the subscription was automatically renewed. Since the charge, I have not used any of the paid features. How can I enable the new Variables UI where the button is in the left toolbar and the Variables page opens in full screen? My other account already uses the new UI across all pages, but this account still has the old UI where Variables open in a small modal.  

I’ve been playing around with Codex & today I installed the Figma plugin in order to try out some of the new features & skills such as creating a file, creating a design system, etc. Everything went well, I was able to log into my company Figma account and verify that all the skills were present. However, when I attempted to use some of these skills, I was told that I only had read only access.After this, I attempted to troubleshoot by quitting out of both Figma and Codex, uninstalling & reinstalling the plugin, turning on dev mode & enabling the local MCP server inside of Figma (I was using the remote server before), but nothing seems to work. Based on what I see in the instructions, it should theoretically work out of the box, so to speak.Has anybody encountered this problem before, and if so, how did you fix it? Perhaps I’m doing something wrong, or if there’s a flag that needs to be enabled on the administrative side that will let me use these skill

Hi, Our Figma annual plan renews on April 21 and I want to downgrade 9 members from Full seats to Dev seats before the renewal date. I want to make sure I'm doing this in the right order to avoid any additional monthly billing or access issues.My plan is to reassign each member individually on the Members page first, and then confirm the updated seat counts in the renewal dialog. Is this the correct approach, or should I adjust the seat counts in the renewal dialog first?Also, when I downgrade a member from Full to Dev, does the change take effect immediately or only at the next billing cycle?Thanks!

I’ve made a web-app with figma make, and was happy to see that Push to Github was an option, but I’m having issues with this feature. Whenever I made a change to code, either by ai or manual, I saw that Github didn’t recieve the updated code. I investigated som more and found out that Figma don’t understand how files from the project were being pushed.I have a root directory in github, with one folder (/src). Here, all my files from figma make lies (Public etc) What I noticed is that Figma creates two index.html files, two package.json, two vite.config.ts  on push.The original files from Make is in /scr. and another basic version gets put on the Github root.I’ve tried to figure out how to fix or work around this, but I cannot figure it out. I’ve tried moving the correct versions to Github root, but to no help. And to make it worse, they get overwritten with every push. Must be some more files not being pushed to the right location.

With the official roll out and credit limits, is the limit per seat or total for the plan? 

I’d really appreciate some help here, can’t get mobile prototyping to work in the way I’d expect. I am prototyping an app with a bottom anchored toolbar. As such, “Fit” type settings are critical to avoid users from missing these buttons. However, any combination of settings I try in prototyping (Fit, fill, presentation, different preset phone frames) do not actually fit my prototype within phones of varying sizes. Here’s an image of what I’d expect would happen.

I have created full function POS software in Figma Make. I am very impressed with capability. However last few weeks this App is not being build (No UI is rendered). Any effort to reach the support has not been of any help. Yes, I can still create new App which tells me my configuration etc are fine.   Is anyone else facing similar kind of problem? 

I am working in a file that was created by another designer. I am trying to add a background pill to a text grid and I can’t get the pill to go behind the text. From the file menu I can see that all of the components previously created are dragged from the component library so they are all purple. I’ve tried several options, but not having success. Nothing is locked.

Auto-filling slot containersIs there a way for an instance added to a slot to automatically fill the slot container? For example, when I insert a row component into the slot, it keeps its fixed width instead of expanding to fill the slot.Selecting a preferred instance variantWhen setting a preferred instance for a slot, it seems like I can only select the base component—not a specific variant. Is there currently a way to choose a specific variant as the preferred instance?The only workaround I can think of is breaking that variant out into its own component, but that feels like it defeats the purpose of variants.Am I missing something in how slots are intended to work, or are these current limitations?

After using it, I found the experience very slow with a lot of errors, so I decided I no longer want to continue with the subscription.I checked Figma's help article about requesting a refund within 24 hours, which mentions going to Settings → Community tab → Community purchases. However, I cannot find the "Community purchases" section in my account at all — I only see profile connection options there.I believe this is because I purchased a Professional team plan, not a Community resource (plugin/template), so the refund steps in the help article don't seem to apply to my case.I have already submitted a request through Figma's official contact form under "Billing and invoicing," but I wanted to ask here as well:➡️ Has anyone been in the same situation? Hey everyone!Our team has built a multi-brand design system that supports three different brand themes, each with both light and dark modes.All our icons are created as unions. This helps preserve the color override when an icon is swapped inside a component. For example: all icons use the “icon” color variable by default, but within a success inline message component, the icon is overridden with the “icon-success” color variable (green), as the icon should always be green in that context. Swapping, say, a checkmark icon with “icon-success” applied for a shield icon retains the correct “icon-success” variable. So far, so good.However, when we re-theme the inline message component from Brand 1 to Brand 2, the icon switches to a different brand-specific variant from the icon component set. Here’s where things break: in component instances, the color override (“icon-success”) is lost during this brand switch, and the icon falls back to the default “icon” c
