Hi, we were setting up our color variables for light and dark mode and noticed that the preview of the colors in dark mode do not represent the actual value behind it. Anyone has any idea why this happens and how to fix it?  A little backstory, we have set up core, base and applied tokens in the variables window. The base level is where we set up theming. However, in our applied level we sometimes overwrite a color for a specific token in dark mode. However, when we do this, the preview seems to show the colors as presented in light mode instead of dark mode. When we actually apply the token, it all works properly, it is just the preview in the variables window that shows the wrong color.

Hey Figma community!I’m a clothing designer, and I’m trying to create a portfolio website, but I don’t know much about coding or Figma’s coding features.I used Figma Make to generate a webpage that includes secondary and third-level menus. Then I tried using a Chrome extension to convert the Figma Make page into an actual website, but it only captured the first page.Is there any way to include all the submenus when converting or exporting the page?What I really want to do is add images to different blocks on the page, but the Figma Make agent hasn’t been able to do it correctly so far.Any advice would be greatly appreciated. After purchasing a 1-month Professional full membership, my usage was exhausted within one day, and it was supposed to renew after one month. To prevent renewal, I downgraded my membership to the Starter (free) plan. However, yesterday the 1-month fee was charged to my card again, while my account still shows as a free membership. Hi guys, I subscribed to figma not because I just wanted to use Figma Make. I thought the AI worked for designs as well, just like https:sleek.design, but unfortunately for me, what is made, can’t be edited on Figma Design. How do I cancel this subscribtion. Hi all,My team is trying to connect Figma and GitHub's Cloud Coding Agent (not GitHub's local VSCode coding agent). Our end goal is enabling the cloud coding agent to access Figma MCP tools like  “get_code”/”get_design_context”. Since there's no public plans yet on any direct connection between the two, I have questions about potential alternatives:Are there any plans or current capabilities for Figma MCP to support a PAT or API based authorization? This would be incredibly useful for apps that don't use Oauth like GitHub's Cloud Coding Agent. HiI have a pretty large design file. In that file I have a substantial amount of variables. They all link (aliased) to variables in another file where my primitives are placed.What I would like to achieve is to be able to copy my Design file and copy my Primitives file. I Then need the variable collection in my COPY-Design file to be relinked to my new primitive file called COPY-Primitives.I know how to use plugins for importing collections and relinking variables on components that way. But I cannot seem to find a way or a plugin where I can relink my entire variable collection to a copy of my primitives. At least not automatically. Any way I can accomplish relinking my variable collection to my new copy of my primitives without going through plus severeal hundred variables manually?Thanks.

I want to make a menu with 2 state (default and hover state), so I made a component for that and it works fine. but I also want that component when I hover it will open an overlay. so, I need the two interaction working at the same time when I hover it.It actually work. but there is maybe a bug or I don’t know for sure. so, when I hover the menu, it does making teh two interaction (change state and open an overlay), but when I drag away my mouse, the overlay doesn’t close by it self as I expected. is this a bug? or I miss something?please anyone if you know how to fix this, thanks in advance.

Do you sometimes lose yourself in your figma page? You’ve done one design and you literally can’t find it anywhere. Zooming in, out, left, right, up, down, searching in your layers to see if you can go to that frame. I had this problem, but then i thought, wouldn’t it be good to have a little page map on the bottom of your screen to show you where your wireframes are on the page. If anyone has a hack or thinks this might be useful let me know! 

I thought it was just my bluetooth keyboard glitching out, but cmd + z is not undoing any action, nor is going to the Edit menu > Undo. Has anyone encountered this issue before? And if so, how did you resolve it?

Hi,Our team has been creating multiple pages using Figma Make. However, we realized that all the pages are in separate files, and we can’t figure out how to connect them with Prototype mode.We want to: Combine several Make pages (Landing, Dashboard, Courses, etc.) into one Design file. Add Prototype links between the frames (e.g., from the Landing page to the Dashboard). Is there a way to convert or duplicate Make files into regular Figma Design files so that we can use the Prototype feature?

Hi everyone,I’m experiencing a frustrating issue with Figma Make. It seems like the autosave isn't working properly: every time I try to close the file, I get a warning saying that my changes are not saved, even though I've been working on it for a while.The biggest problem is that I’ve wasted all my AI credits repeating the same prompt dozens of times. I was trying to apply the same edit repeatedly because the changes simply wouldn't show up in the Prototype mode.Basically, I paid the "credit price" for the generation multiple times, but since the file failed to sync/save, I have nothing to show for it and now my quota is empty.Has anyone encountered this "save loop" or found a way to force a sync when Figma Make hangs? Also, is there a way to contact support for a credit refund in cases of technical glitches like this?Thanks for any help!

After creating an asset in Figma Buzz, I export it to PDF. However, when the asset opens in Adobe Reader, the name of the asset matches the Figma name, which I use an internal naming scheme for.I don’t want to email an asset with an internal name that’ll be visible to customers.But, I can’t seem to discover how to avoid this without having to do a separate step post-export.So, QUESTION: is there a way to control the display title of the PDF export without having to change my internal naming convention?

It’s a smart idea and performs very well in my tests.Issue summaryWhen migrating components that previously relied on “Swap instance,” I have to add a wrapper frame around the existing instance to use a Slot. Then, every time I place that component, I end up deleting or replacing the inner instance to populate the slot. This breaks my expected workflow: I want to continue using the original instance as the default slot content so that when I instantiate the component I don’t need to manually remove the inner instance each time. Also, if I delete the instance that served as the swap source, the child components lose their contents (the previously swapped instances).What would be your recommendations for managing the migration from the old system to this new feature?
