Wireframe Kit from Community -> Can't publish library

I'm just working my way into Figma.

I downloaded a wireframing kit from the community and wanted to publish it as a shared library.
When I click on “Publish”, the Figma window dims briefly, then the wireframe file is visible again, but nothing has been published. I have no access to the components from another file (the library is not displayed for selection). Identical with another wireframing kit.

What could be the reason for this? If I create components myself and share them as a shared library, it works without any problems.

Thanks for your support!

Hi @vulpes

Thanks for reaching out. Could you please double-check if the file has been moved to a team in your account? Files downloaded from the Community usually appear in your drafts at first, so you’ll need to move them to a project before publishing. If the file is already in a team, do you see any invalid assets or error messages when trying to publish? If the issue persists, could you share a screen recording?

Thanks!
Toku

Hi Toku,

the hint with the drafts solved the problem.

Thanks a lot!
