Question

What does pressing command do after starting to drag?

oscargodson

I noticed today when I start dragging an element then hold down command after starting to drag my cursor has a little down arrow under it. I tried to screenshot but even with a timed screenshot the Figma cursor is not appear in my screenshot.

Is there a list of key commands when dragging? I couldnt find any info on what this means nor info on dragging commands.

Thanks!

@oscargodson This is to allow the user to deeply nest a node. It basically allows you to reparent the node you’re dragging in certain circumstances where we’d otherwise not do so.

Here is the example when the layer is bigger than the frame.

I hope it helps!
