Question

Vector nodes command+click

Jeff20

In vector editing mode, command+click (or bend tool + click) on a node removes the toggle handles.

Is there a way to remove the handles for all selected nodes at the same time?

Hi @Jeff20

Just to make sure I'm on the right track – are you looking for a way to remove bézier handles from all selected paths at once?

I've looked into this a bit but haven't found a direct way to do that so far. I'll ask around internally and get back to you once I learn more!

Thanks,

Yes. But just from the selected anchor points, not necessarily entire paths.

To do one the process would be:
Select vector path > Edit object (enter/return key) > Bend tool and click the anchor point (or Command click) to add or remove handles.

Adding handles to all selected points (that don’t currently have them) works by simply clicking one of the mirroring options. So I would think the easy place to put retract handles function would be there with the bezier mirroring choices.

Illustrator does this in a few ways with options like Convert Selected Anchor Points To Corner or Path > Simplify (straight lines).
