When following the instructions here https://help.figma.com/hc/en-us/articles/360039820114-Manage-email-address-or-password, I’m not able to reach step 3. This is because I’m directly directed to the google SSO page when i type in the email I want to reset the password for
How do I work around this ?

Hey @Kasper_Borgbjerg! It sounds frustrating to be redirected to the Google SSO page instead of reaching the password reset steps.

Are you stuck at the step where you’re not receiving the password-reset email? If so I can get you connected with our support team to resolve this issue.

Can you please try these steps:

You can use the password reset feature to assign a password to your account and sign in without Google SSO. Here’s how to do this:

  1. Visit https://www.figma.com/login
  2. Click “Forgot Password”
  3. Enter your Google email address to send yourself a password-reset email
  4. Follow the link in the email you receive next to set a password for your account
  5. Log into Figma using your newly created password

Let me know if this works for you, happy to help out further!

Thanks for confirming! I’ve created a support ticket on your behalf so our team can look into this for you. Your ticket number is #1177453 and you can use it as a reference for follow-ups.

Our support team typically responds within 24 hours- tends to be quicker than that in normal circumstances. However, we’re currently experiencing a higher volume of inquiries, so there may be a slight delay.
