Hi. I have a question, is it my error or is it more of a rendering of the image when prototyping? I have a project, I divided the website sections into individual frames. I then “wrapped” these frames into one large frame. They are aligned perfectly every single pixel. Unfortunately, in the prototypes view I occasionally get such a thin gray line between the frames as below in the screenshot. How to deal with this?

Hi there,

Thanks for reaching out. I’m checking with our internal team. I will get back to you when I have anything I can share with you.

Thanks for your patience.

I have noticed this behavior when open the Preview popup and the window scale is smaller than the original size.

Are you facing this issue when you open the prototype on in present mode?

I could reproduce this issue both on the Preview and Present mode. I’m asking if there is any ongoing issues internally. I’ll get back to you if there is any update!

Thanks,

Toku

Any updates on this? Getting the same thing.

These kinds of artifacts have been common on and off for years. Adjusting the zoom of the prototype can make them go away, but this is not always feasible to do. And it’s been happening in the Slides product, which has caused some problems for me since the zoom cannot be changes in Slides presentation mode.

Hi @Shafo @Brian_Saunders ,

We apologize for the delayed response. We have shared this internally but are having difficulty pinpointing the root cause.

Could you please submit a bug report outlining the steps that led to this issue? You can do this by following the link: https://help.figma.com/hc/en-us/articles/360041468234-Submit-a-bug-report

Thank you for your patience.

Yes agree with most here, this has been going on for quite some time. I get around this by adding a background colour (usually white) to the main frame (page), this will fill in that line. If you are designing a dark page, then add a dark colour background instead of white.

I am having this exact problem. There are thin gray lines everywhere in my prototypes that make the designs look awful. The lines also compete against frames that are supposed to have line borders making it difficult to communicate where there should be lines and where there should not be any lines. Is there a resolution to this?

@wc-xym Like I said in my reply,

This seems to occur when elements have split pixel dimensions. In my case, I had a page built with autolayout, so all components stack vertically. Pretty standard page builder type stuff. I had a group further up the stack with a height of 778.4px. Setting this to a full value (either by tweaking the elements inside the group, or setting the height of the group itself) fixed the issue further down the page.
