Slack Integration not working

Vince_Stinson

This seems like an old issue that just started for us. The Slack integration is working for 2 of us but whenever anyone from the team tries to implement it we get

{“error”:true,“status”:401,“message”:“Unable to verify request”}

Can anyone help?

Hey again,
Thank you for the video! Can you confirm if you have tried the workaround I mention in the first message?

Please try to revoke the two members, uninstall Slack app, then restart by re-authorize the connection between Slack and Figma and see if this is now working. (And also, after connecting Figma and Slack, you will need to authorize the connection via this link)

If the issue still persists, please contact our support team so our technical specialist can have a deeper look at it. (please also mention the steps you have done, thank you!)

Hey Vince!
By any chance, are you using a Free slack team?

We believe the error we are seeing on the backend when you are trying to install is often caused by attempting to install an 11th app on a free team. (the limit is 10)
If that is the case, could you uninstall another Slack app, re-authorize the connection between Slack and Figma as previously mentioned and see if this is now working?

Also, after connecting Figma and Slack, you will need to authorize the connection. Can you try authorizing the connection between Figma and Slack via this link .

If you are still running into issues please contact our support team.

We have a paid account. I can get two people in the app. We had 10 users in before and then the problem started trying to add another. Now only 2 of us can get in? Any ideas? Thank you. I sent a video and a screen of the error page attached to your team that emailed me.
