Figma is using too much ram in MacBook air m3 8gb ram compared to pc with i7300kf 32gb ram.

In macbook it takes 4gb ram in browser or native app compated to pc only takes 2gb ram.

We know when the ram amount is small the website takes less ram.

Hey @Ali_Bin_Jubayed, thanks for reaching out about this.

Can you try clearing your desktop app cache and let me know if this doesn’t help clear the issue for you?

You can clear the desktop app cache on a Mac in the Help menu under Troubleshooting. If you’d prefer to manually clear your cache you can:

  1. Quit the Figma desktop app
  2. Open Terminal.app and enter the following command: rm -rf "$HOME/Library/Application Support/Figma"
  3. Try opening the desktop app again

On Mac you can find this in the Help menu under Troubleshooting.

Please let me know if that helps and if you have any follow up questions and I’ll be here to help!
