Published color variables don't show up in other docs

I have created a few collections of color variables in a document that is published to my library. How do I access those colors in other documents? They don’t show up.

I do not have “Hide from publishing” checked for any of the colors. Also, “Show in all supported properties” is checked.

Have you also added the library to the document you’re working in?

Also, you won’t see them in the “local variables” but you can use them the same way you use styles.
