Prototyping - menu to push page content

PLEASE HELP 😦 could someone help me, with the best way to prototype a filter menu coming in from a button? I’d like the page content to ‘squeeze’ very much like outlook has the hamburger menu push in and the content gets smaller.

I can’t seem to get this with an overlay as theres nothing to push? should this be done with variables? i’d be grateful of any guidance.

I don’t think it can be done efficiently. You would need to duplicate your page and auto-animate the two states together for a prototype. The only issue with this method is that the filter navigation animation would only work for that one instance in your prototype.

It would be nice if overlays like this could push page content around as it would allow for every instance of a navigation to have this interaction without having to duplicate and auto-animate each page of a prototype. You could just link the overlay to your filter component one time.
