JIRA-Figma automation: linked design update trigger frequency

Hi everyone,

When a linked design is updated in Figma, does the JIRA-Figma design update automation trigger for every individual update, or does it group updates together and run at a set interval? If it runs on an interval, could anyone clarify what that interval is?
