Is it possible to grant a few members of my design team edit access to a library without allowing them a publish access?

I want to allow a few members of my design team to add components to a file but restrict them from publishing it. I’d like to keep publishing control limited to specific team members. Is this currently possible in Figma?

Hi @Saurav_Rastogi1 ,

Thanks for reaching out!

Here's some information on managing libraries while using Figma on an Organization/Enterprise plan. Since publishing libraries directly from branches isn't currently supported, utilizing branches can be an effective strategy for managing them. By limiting editing permissions for the main library file, you can prevent unintended publishing by other team members. Here are some helpful resources to learn more about branching in Figma and its relation to library publishing:

If you are on Starter/Pro plan, it is not available unfortunately. I hope these help but feel free to let us know if you have any further questions!

Thanks,

Toku
