Is it possible to change the Document Name via Plugin API?

Documentation says figma.root.name is read-only. Has anyone changed the document name via the Plugin API? Any word on a feature enhancement?

It is currently not possible to change the filename using the Plugin API.

    Am also wondering about this. It would be really helpful if we could rename the file to a specific pattern from our plugin. I want to be able to set up a new file quickly and configure it with a plugin.
