Hi,I’ve placed a component with a variant (an expanded dropdown on click) within another component (a form). When I place an instance of my ‘form’ component into a frame the dropdown variant doesn't prototype correctly, it appears all squashed/distorted. Does anyone know why a component would stop working once it’s nested within another component? Thank you

Hi! Today I opened Figma and the Design file disappeared from the Team project. I didn't delete it and it's not in the trash either. Definitely not 30 days have passed, because a couple of days ago I sent a link to another person to view. At the same time, other design files remained in the team project. Maybe someone has had the same thing happen recently and managed to solve it somehow?

First of all, kudos to the Figma team for Sites, it’s an amazing product even in beta. I've been looking forward to Figma making this happen, an easy way to publish a website directly.I’ve been moving our website from Framer to Figma hoping to switch, however I encountered one issue: I have text styles with breakpoints for desktop, tablet and mobile. Everything looks good in the preview, however when I publish the site, styles use the values for the mobile breakpoints even on the desktop.Interestingly enough, if I resize the browser window to a smaller size and then back again, it works. So it looks like the first view is the one with the issue.At some point, I think it was working properly, but now this issue is back again. I can’t seem to see any correlations with anything else I’m doing.Anyone else experiencing something similar?Thank you,Panos

I am following directions to Cmd-C an entire frame, then Cmd-V to my file, but only get the text. I've tried...- Chrome, Firefox, Desktop App, and Copy and paste playground- Restarted Mac, Force quit Desktop and Browser- Turned off all Chrome extensions, Cleared cache and logins for a week- Searched Community and Documentation, followed suggestions to no avail- Followed the Troubleshooting checklistCan anyone help me with this? Thanks!

So, whenever I wanted to export a design from FIGMA to a code (HTML) it works perfectly fine. When I tried doing the same thing with the new Apple Liquid Glass feature it always exported it as if its just a guassian blur effect. Would really appreciate if anyone can help me know if this is even possible to export this effect as a code (HTML) or not.

I honestly think this is the only thing that figma is missing for me right now!

IssueWe’ve created a rather large and complex design system, which is already being used by several design teams in their layouts. Sometimes, we have to completely rebuild a component, and almost all of its properties change.QuestionThe question is whether there’s an approach to updating components without breaking designers' layouts. Is there any plugin or built-in tool that can help prevent breakage?

Hi, we are trying with figma make to connect webhooks with n8n which are fully working tested on POSTMAN and there is no chance to make it work. I managed some how to work it out once and no more in test mode. it is now in producction and not answering through the webhook.Instrucctions such,  here is the webhook, method post, it will return json through webhook reposnse. represent it back on your front end nicely for the user. I have checked youtubes and it should just work like this, is there anything else I am missing?

Hi mates,I was using Figma Sites from a first date was release at Figma Beta. But I really don’t known how to prototype “Open Overlay” just like Figma Design was like. Any one known how to work-around with that.I was copy my design with prototype work-fine from Figma Design, but still can't running with Figma Sites.And when I publish, I receive this message “Interactions · Unsupported action" Really annoying that they bring many new interactions, but somehow forget little trigger but useful like “Open Overlay" 

Hi everyone,I'm having an issue with my Figma prototype. One of the white rectangles in my design — which has a plain white "glacé" effect but no opacity or gradient — suddenly appears with a gradient when I run the prototype.I've double-checked the fill settings, and it's set to solid white (#FFFFFF), with 100% opacity and no effects applied.Has anyone experienced this before? Could it be a rendering bug in prototype mode, or am I missing something?Thanks in advance!    

Why  can't buy figma pro?

I recently lost access to my Google account, and unfortunately, this account was linked to my Figma profile, which contains several important projects that I desperately need to recover.Since I can no longer log in to Figma using that account, I’m hoping there’s a way to regain access to my projects. Has anyone experienced something similar or know if Figma support can help transfer projects to a new account?

I’ve been using figma.fileKey in an internal Figma plugin to get the file’s latest contributor, and it had been working fine until today.Now I’m getting the following error:Unhandled promise rejection: Error: figma.fileKey is undefined. Ensure you’re in the plugin main thread on API v1.0.0+Just wanted to check—was there a recent update to the Figma APIs that may have affected this behavior?  Figma loads but shows a broken or pixelated canvas. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled, tried webgl and every other thing possible. It’s does this on both desktop and website for chrome but on Mozilla website it working well. What can I do please?

Hello, after the latest Figma update, I can no longer see the icons in the Layer panel that indicate whether a layer is a master component or an instance, or whether a frame has auto-layout. Is there a setting to display these icons in the Layer panel?

Recently Figma added a long-awaited feature (for me at least) to Slides—the ability to create and use components within a presentation or template. However the implementation of this was not quite what I expected and doesn’t line up with how I use components in design files.My issue is that I don’t really know where to keep the main components. Slides seems to be encouraging me to have them live on the slides themselves, but I that approach as always felt weird to me because I want components to be separated from content. In the template I created for my company, I also experimented with storing components on hidden appendix slides, but that felt off too. I  am currently keeping the main components off to the side somewhere, but they feel like they’re floating in space and lack organization. Plus, I can only really see them in the “all slides” view.I think what I expected was something more like the ability to keep Slides components on a separate page altogether. Not s
