Hi everyone, I’m working on a project in Figma Make and really enjoying the workflow, but I’m stuck on one important point: how do you share a prototype created in Figma Make?

I can’t find any option to generate a shareable link or access a Prototype mode, and I’m not sure whether this is a limitation of Figma Make or if there’s a specific step required to export or transfer the work into Figma Design.

Could someone clarify whether it’s possible to share a prototype built in Make, and if so, what the correct process is?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Hi @Dalila Conturso ,

I understand that you’re looking for a way to share a functional prototype created in Figma Make.

If you’re on a paid plan and have a Full seat on that team, one option is to publish your Figma Make file.

Once published, your functional prototype or web app will be available on the public web with its own dedicated URL, which you can share with others.

In the Make settings modal, you can also enable Exclude all pages from search engine results to prevent search engines from indexing your published prototype.

If you’re on an Organization or Enterprise plan, you can additionally enable password protection, so viewers need to enter a password to access the published content.

You can read more about this here: Publish, update, or unpublish a functional prototype or web app

Alternatively, you can share a fullscreen preview of your prototype. Please note that when sharing via fullscreen preview, viewers will be able to access the AI chat.

You can find more details in the “Share a fullscreen preview” section of Preview a functional prototype or web app.

Thanks,
