Hello everybody! Is there a way I can change the link in one place and automatically to change anywhere that link is displayed across the Figma Map? For example if I have on a map a link with the naming convention “Document 203482” and I upload that with another link, can it be automatically updated everywhere on the map where I have that link? I tried the Link Manager, but it seems like I can only edit them one by one and not automatically change them everywhere.

I can click through elements on the buttons underneath. I tried setting “on click” to “none” on the elements that I would click through but that did not do anything. How can I disable it? Thank you!

Hi there, I’ve created various variables in different collections. When I want to apply a number variable to a text so that the text takes the value of the variable, I can’t find all my variables in the menu. I can see “all libraries” but only one variable appears out of the dozens I’ve created. I don’t understand why. Any ideas ?

I am trying to log in via my laptop but Figma Is returning the message “Click on the link we sent to xxxxx@xxxxx.com within the next 5 minutes to log in.” The problem is, the email is on my phone and doesn’t help me trying to log in via my laptop and not my phone. Anyone else had this problem, or know how to solve?

Hi team. Previously I could embed a prototype flow in a page and include a version-id parameter to use an older saved version. Embeds with version-id stopped working some time yesterday, returning an error. The request is accepted if the parameter is changed to version but only the current version of the prototype flow is returned. How should I embed non-current prototype flows in web pages?

I’m a teacher trying to use FigJam as a replacement for Google Jamboard. The app is much smoother so I’d like to use it, but when I share with my students I see their cursors buzzing around the board. I can’t find the “hide multiplayer cursors” option that the browser offers on the FigJam for iPad app. Am I missing something or does it lack that functionality.

Hi! I’m experiencing some issues related to Auto Layout, the main one and most important, is what I describe in the title (Children of an Auto Layout not responding to the auto vertical gap). I already looked around community, Figma’s site and the web in general, tried different settings, but still can’t solve the situation. The thing is: I have 2 text containers within an Auto Layout. The container in the top has a horizontal and vertical resizing set on Fill, and a max width. The one on the top, has only the horizontal resizing set on Fill, and the vertical resizing is set on Hug, but the reason I leave It like that is because otherwise, the text container resizes weirdly and both containers end up overlapping. Bottom container in auto layout set Fill / Fill Bottom container in auto layout set Fill / Hug Constraints in the Auto Layout were set to Left and right / Center, and the auto layout vertical gap between items was set first to 3 and then to Auto. I have a published master library of components which I want to use in different themes in different files. I want the components that I pick from the asset drawer in a new file to adapt to the local styles instantly. Is there a plugin available for this? I tried using the “Themer” plugin but I have to apply it every time I introduce a new component from the master library in the new file. 😕

How can we know what features are being prioritized on Figma’s roadmap? Many ideas and bugs shared here have many votes but have been left unsolved for years, even though users are still bumping, adding comments, and voting. Everytime I select more than 2 frames lets say I select 6 and try to export them in Figma it will randomly only export like 2 of them. I have to individually go in and select frames at a time.

I’m working on a Design System for a company that has a complete UI for both mobile and web apps. I need a plugin to help me analyze the pages (or ideally the whole file) and extract font weights and sizes together to create typography styles based on the existing design. So far, the plugins I’ve found only provide font weights and sizes separately, which isn’t very efficient for such a large design. I understand the list might be long, but this would save a lot of time compared to manually going through everything. If there isn’t a plugin that does this, do you have any recommendations on how to approach this problem? Plugins I’ve tried that almost solved the problem: FontScanner, Design Lint, TextManager pls, help 😭

I can swap the parts of the component when I deal with the main component. Once I copy the main component and it becomes an instance, I can’t swap its parts. I stumbled upon a weird bug I can’t seems to be able wrapping my head around. My usecase is as following: In my library file I have a local component with 2 variants called “Component content”. There’s the default variant “Green” and another one “Red”. This is instanced inside the black “Component” component, with “Component content” set to default green. My issue is that as soon I use “Component” in other files, and make changes to any variant of “Component content” other than green, they do not propagate to instances of “component content” within “component” in other files. I’m trying from two days to add image to my file but image not laoding, how i can fix this please help me?

I’ve got a mobile page with vertical scrolling and a child component with horizontal overflow scrolling. Vertical is great. But the image carousel that goes horiztonal is incredibly difficult to scroll all the way. It will scroll a little with a normal finger swipe/flick but then bounce back. In order to scroll the full horizontal width of the carousel i have to use multiple fingers successively to hold and drag and by brute force reach the end. it feels like there is an incredibly strong rubber band on the end of the content making it difficult to swipe. I see no exclamation marks when i view this frame or parent frames. Only this frame has horizontal overflow scrolling enabled and parent frames i have that off. I wasn’t sure what to do about clipping content for parent frames but toggling any of those details doesn’t seem to fix this. I’ve also tried artificially setting the frame wider than the content (with clip content on) and that doesn’t change anything. Any ideas? thanks!

Hi ! When I try to export my project (5 frames), I am confronted with a file that takes a lot of time to load, and that lags a lot. I tried to export it with several plugins and the built-in tool, I tried to compress the file after the export, I tried to do it frame by frame… Thanks for helping !
