I have a button composant with many props and variations. And the order of those are very important for my workflow. Inside my UI kit, the order is sets in a particular order, like this. But wheb I published it and upload all my assets, the order is still eratic. I closed my soft, even restart my computer, but the pb still remains. Have got the same pb ? I did have since this morning, maybe this is a new issue after a new update of the software ?

New to Figma, system is requesting verification

Hi folks. I stumbled upon a simple Dialog open behavior. If I use a component with “WhilePressing” visual effect (like e.g. background dimming), then both onTap and onTouchUp actions won’t cancel the effect. Working on the desktop app, I have resized the UI and made it smaller by mistake. In the online documentation there are the following shortcuts that do not work because I have an Italian keyboard, where 0 and = are on the same key. I cannot change them, since Figma does not support personalising shortcuts. Reset to Default: CtrlShiftAlt0 Make Larger: CtrlShiftAlt= Also the documentation states that in the View panel there should be a function to resize the UI, but there isn’t as you can see in this screenshot. So, how do I reset the size of the UI? Thank you for your help

When we can expect the avaialbility of that the new Ai feature, that helps to create designs in a given prompt ?

I am aware that currently when swapping libraries it does not work on variables, but somehow when I swapped libraries, some of the color variables reassigned to the new library variables. So now I have components color variables mixed with the original library and the swapped one. How is this possible? I thought the swapped components variables will remain linked to the original library. Does anyone have similar experience?

Hi All, We were waiting for a couple of months (years?) until the branching functionality supported combining a design file + library in 1 branch. We at the time saw no way to use branching otherwise (most if not all assets and colors sit in a library, not in the design file). Has this been fixed/changed in the meantime? Or is this still a no-go? A dumb question perhaps, but how do people work around this? I can’t see anybody that uses libraries using the branches until this is fixed. B

I’ve figured out how to use Figma which is very intuitive and build a website this week and was expecting to spend an hour building a mail form so I downloaded Weavely to make it. Is this typical behaviour: I can’t get the Form templates (opening Weavely window where you select Email form) back on the first page I used it on (my Contact page). I’ve got a component that uses a background image as part of it. I’ve just added a mask below the image so I can crop the image within each instance of the component. However after checking the instances in the main file, I notice that the squares that you would grab to resize an image dont appear in the instances when I highlight that layer. Of course if I detach the instance, then they appear and I can resize the image just fine, But I’d like to keep the connection to the main component if possible. Is there a way to set this up so it works how I’d like? Or is it impossible right now?

Hi everyone, Does anyone know why Figma doesn’t animate strokes/borders? If I have a button which has a stroke, and on HOVER the stroke color changes, Figma will not animate it, instead it will make a weird jumpy transition that look terrible. Thanks 🙂

I have set up dark and light modes in the variables. in the light mode, the text has a fill: brand/default/text-brand with green color. dark mode is the same variable with different value - white. when I apply dark variable mode to the button, the text fill does not change even though the dropdown shows that if I select it, it should be white. the variables are in a separate library file, where everything works as intended:

Somehow my color variables are hidden in the publish, i’ve checked and they have the hidden checkbox unchecked so i dont understand why this is happenig!

Hi! I have a problem with a file I created and edited just this week. The file was only accessible to me and it was created in my drafts, but now I don’t see this file anywhere in my workspace and when I click the link (which I saved in the search bar), I get an error that I don’t have access to this file. Even when I click the “request access” button, I don’t receive this request by email, as if the file was created in someone else’s space. What can I do about this?

Hello, I’m wondering for your advice on how to best achieve the following with variables: Have default light & dark mode Have themes and each theme would have a light & dark mode There is one way I can think of to solve this: Have two collections - one with all of the colours and the other with all of the themes (for example light, dark, purple light, purple dark) Is there a way to have one theme only (purple) which would work perfectly with either light or dark mode selected? I appreciate any help!

We paid for Professional for 1 person, 144 dollars was charged, like an annual subscription. Now every month for some reason another 25 dollars are written off. for what? and how to turn it off? and 2nd question - we didn’t connect Figma jam, but out of these 25 dollars we charge 10 dollars for it. how to refuse this??

Before the “dev mode”, there was a small space in the sidebar with generated css code. It could be the most basic for your non “dev mode” subscribers… It’s fine extracting height, width, border, colors but gradients, box shadow are quite impossible. Bring the old css code back 🙏

We’re using color variables for this, but the issue is that we can only change them in Edit Mode, not Dev Mode. Not sure if we’re doing it right

Why doesn’t Figma allow designers to create fully programmatic PDFs, instead of producing subpar outputs? Isn’t Figma supposed to be a comprehensive design tool? Why not focus on such an essential feature instead of less significant updates? How many more threads will it take for Figma to recognize this as a priority? Why should I resort to using InDesign when I could achieve the same results in Figma within 10 minutes? Don’t respond asking what needs fixing or how to improve it—you know. The output simply isn’t a properly encoded PDF.

Since the UI update my comment notifications are no longer appearing in Figma. I still ge the e-mails. How can I fix this?

Hello, When I enable a property that has additional settings, Figma rebuilds the list of these properties. As the property toggles shift to the next row, they have to re-render. The issue is that, if they stacked, while rendering on the new place they inherit the state of the toggle that was previously in that row. And if the previous toggle’s state was different, it triggers an animated transition, making it look like the toggle settings have changed, even though they’ve only been re-rendered in a new position. This is especially confusing and frustrating when working with components that have multiple boolean properties. Check the screenshot to get the idea. Please fix it. Thanks!

My designer used the font, “Content”, in his design. It is listed under the fonts that are on Google Fonts. However, when I go to google fonts, I can only find on that is in a different language than English. Where is the English “Content” font?

This is a very weird way to phrase it, but I’m working on a page that is one consistent scroll to the very bottom of the page with no redirects or second pages. I’m trying to use the Present function to view if everything is lining up the way I want it to, but Figma doesn’t even scroll down further than the second image.
