Hello! While moving my drafts, I had to choose whether or not I should delete them. The “creation date” of my files became a very important element to make these decisions… except there’s no precise date written anywhere. There’s only “2 years ago” and such.

So I looked it up on the blog and forum. And, surprisingly, there’s little to no content about this issue. From what I read, the only solution given in years was to open the “history version” and look up to the bottom (thanks to the paid plan).

The only workaround I have found so far is to manually write the creation date inside every new file you create, but it does not apply retroactively lol.

So my initial question was: how to look at the file’s creation date?

Then my question became: why is it not possible to look at this basic metadata of my files? Alternatively, are there plans to finally make it available easily for everyone?

Thank you in advance.

Seconding this. I’m trying to find a legacy file from a couple of years ago. I have the exact date of an export from that file, so I know roughly when to look, but sorting through a years worth of files just to find one seems like something I shouldn’t need to do.

Reclassify this as a feature request and we will all upvote it!
