Maybe you created the file in a team and the team admin was removed you from it? So you’ve lost the access of your file.

I just checked again and that’s not it.
The file was under a Free Team, that I created myself, I’ve also checked the Deleted page and it’s not there.
The file is completely missing from my Figma.

Please this is urgent @CommunityMember I have lots of work on the file and my deadline to submit it is tomorrow.

Hi there, Thank you for bringing this to our attention.

If you can access your file from the browser but not from the Figma app and encounter the same message, it might be helpful to check if you are logged in with the same account on Figma. - Switch between accounts

If you are logged in with the same account, please try clearing the desktop app cache. - Clear the Figma desktop app cache

If the issue persists after trying all the above, I suggest reaching out to our support team for further assistance via this link: https://help.figma.com/hc/en-us/requests/new?ticket_form_id=360001744374
When contacting support, please include the following information:

  • Your Figma account email
  • Screenshots of the issue, capturing the full Figma screen
  • The URL of the file
  • Troubleshooting steps you have tried

Hope it helps.
Thank you for your assistance!

Yes. I am logged into the correct account.
I have created a new file from the file menu (File at that time was owned someone else)
I checked the other account and this file is not found there too.

Is there anyway to find out the email so that I can check or mail them?

Also, as its been created by me and all the work is done by me, so can I get the copy so that I can restore my work done?

It’s very very important!
