Hello guys, I have a problem with the data I input inside the components I created in my project.

Whether I use variables or not, when I shut down Figma and I open it up again, the data I inputted are no longer there.

In particular I am talking about a 3 levels navigation, composed by accordions (picture below).

If everything is open, the datas of course are still there (but, obviously, I need it close in the prototype, so that I can open it there). If I close the accordions, the data disappears.

Does this happen to anybody else? How can I solve it?

It seems like when accordion is closed nested items are not there, physically. Just have them always there but hidden instead. There is no magic really, Figma stores “data” on layers. No layers - no data

I found a lot of other post on the community about this problem, and nobody solved it.

So I could try to toggle off the eye of the layers without realistically closing the accordion? I am going to try it right now, but then I will not have “open/close” interaction of the chevron, or am I wrong?

Closing accordion would not necessarily mean that you have to remove layers that are not visible.

Here’s my accordion. When it’s closed I made content wrap 0 opacity and 0 height for smart animate

What’s your question?
