Question

Exporting to png or jpg is not the frame size

I’ve been trying to export several frames, either desktop versions or mobile, and they are much smaller than what the frame size is. A 390 width is exporting at 221, and when I double the size to 2x, it’s at 110. I’ve exhausted Google to find a solution so any help would be appreciated.

Thank you.

Hey Scott, thank you for reaching out! This might be happening because your file has images with large dimensions. For your reference, Figma downsizes images with a width or height larger than 4096 pixels. This scales the image’s original dimensions proportionally, so the longest edge is less than 4096 pixels.
This is described in more detail here: https://help.figma.com/hc/en-us/articles/360040028034-Add-images-to-design-files.
In general though, we would suggest considering downscaling images in your file as this can help improve memory usage and overall loading performance.

Hope this helps!
