Question

Exporting React files after creating Figma Make site

I just created a Figma Make login workflow that works well and want to export all of the React code that was created by the app. When I switch from Preview to Code, I can see the perfectly structured code and and files but no option to download anything.

When I ask the Figma AI how to download the files, it suggests copy and paste of each file content and recreating locally. This is crazy as there are associated ui and component folders with 100’s of files in them.

I am completely lost. Any help greatly appreciated!

You can view the project here:

Thanks,

Steve

There is a small icon in the upper right corner of the code view that allows you to download the zip file of your project. (The one on the right is the download, the one on the left is to format the code)

Icon to download

I did the same thing, but when I downloaded the zip file, it was just empty when I went to unzip it despite the file size shows 208kb.  It was a problem with my windows zip tool, in case anyone has the same issue.  Downloaded 7 Zip and it all worked fine.
