Question

Elements turn opaque on scroll (prototype)

I am trying to make a long scroll of semi transparent cards with an animation on the background. For some reason the opacity shows perfectly on the design view but when the transparent elements show on the prototype, they turn opaque killing the effect i had in mind for the animated background. This not only happens with certain elements but with any element in any color thats outside of the initial frame: they turn 100%opaque as soon as they show on the screen. I’m desperate, i have no idea what am i doing wrong and im past the deadline to turn in a prototype. Can any of you help?

Hi there,

Sorry for the late response. Would you be able to share the file link so we can take a closer look? Or would you be able to share the screen recording of the behavior?

I’m guessing the background of the prototype would be affecting: https://help.figma.com/hc/en-us/articles/360040314193-Guide-to-prototyping-in-Figma#h_01HHN4WWN3AE5ZK58QCQ1ANHPS.

Hope to help if possible…

Thanks,
Toku
