I applied for an educator account, it said I was verified, but still has me on a free account. This is not conducive to my class. I even used my school email and again, got the verification approval. And what is with Figma not offering help/contact for issues like this stating, post it in the forum? Is this not a school friendly product? Is their support subpar? Should I be looking at another product?

Hi @Ms_Sarlanis - I apologize if the approval process has been confusing. Since it does sound like you were approved for education status, I think that the issue you’re having is applying your approved education status to your existing team (it looks like you only have one at the moment).

Teams under the Education plan have all the same features and benefits as teams with the Professional plan. After your Education status is approved, Figma will prompt you to choose a team to upgrade to the Education plan. You can create a new team or select an existing team.
