Detaching instances with auto-layout breaks child size

Hi all!

I’m having an issue where I have a component instance ( horizontal cards list with auto-layout) and when detaching the component, the sizes of the child items sometimes grows to an exponential width, sometimes size looks like they are OK, but they are nowhere to be find.

Fiddling with the layer manually to adjust size, hug/fill or anything else, I cannot retrieve the layers. It’s lost in the Figma ether lol…

It’s not the first time I encounter this and I cannot understand why it happens or how to fix it…

Anyone have an idea?
