Desktop Figma does not work with sRGB color space support for displays with wide gamut color space on Windows 10

If you know that this is not possible at the moment, I think it would be better if you change the topic to more of a suggestion to the Figma team and change the category to #product-ideas. This way people will be able to vote for your suggestion if they have the same issue so Figma team will see it and hopefully improve this behavior in the future.

Try running Figma Desktop with the --force-color-profile=srgb flag. Maybe it will help.
Add this flag to your Figma shortcut.

Example:
"C:\Users\%USERNAME%\AppData\Local\Figma\Figma.exe" --force-color-profile=srgb

If you are sure that the sRGB color space does not work in desktop applications, then contact technical support.

I opened 7 tickets, asked colleagues to report the problem, but unfortunately technical support has been ignoring the problem for over a year))

And the documentation seems to be lying about " Windows 8 or later in a 64-bit environment". Maybe at least fix the documentation, if not the program?

Yes, this is definitely a bug. I’ve looked into it myself and I have to say that they got it wrong. sRGB/unmanaged are swapped on Windows. Color management is generally a very complex subject and modern IT software companies don’t have the know-how to set it up correctly. It’s not just a problem with Figma, but with all trendy modern tools. Interesting that it doesn’t work for you at all. How does it work for you today in the latest versions?

Having the same issue

Still having the same issue in 2024. I have an ICC profile installed in windows. Importing an sRGB image into a workspace in Figma looks very different when opened in Photoshop (correct presentation of the image).

On macOS I have the same ICC profile on the same monitor and it does not have the issue showing the image consistently throughout Figma and PS.

I believe this is a Windows OS Figma version issue and how windows colour management works.
It’s been a while since this post is posted so I might be unaware of a workaround / a correct configuration?

I can confirm this bug is still appearing on the windows desktop client.

Above is the Browser, displaying as ‘sRGB’ and below is the desktop client, the same file, same frame and also apparently ‘sRGB’ colour profile
