My control button is not working in combo with my mouse, has anyone else seen this? I can do ctrl+c and open the color-picker, and I can do ctrl+cmd+m and make a mask, but if I want to ctrl+click something I can’t. So the ctrl button itself is fine, it’s just that combination that’s stopped working. And I didn’t notice how often I do this until I suddenly can’t, lol.

I can right-click (using my mouse) fine, but it’s as if ctrl-click has gotten mapped to something else in Figma. And this is only in the Figma app - it works normally everywhere else, including Figma in a browser. 🤷 Anyone else done this before?

Oh damn, so that’s how that happened, lol. What a weird option, what maniac would turn this off? 😂

Hey @Travis2, exactly! I was just typing my reply to ask you to check if the “Ctrl + click opens right-click menu” option is enabled. You can find it under Preferences in the Figma app. If it’s disabled, re-enabling it might resolve the issue.

Glad you’ve figured it out yourself!

Pretty crazy that this would be turned off by default (or really that there’s even a setting for it).

What’s lame is that Figma just disables this arbitrarily WHILE YOU’RE WORKING. WTH. I’m in Figma, just used it, then five minutes later it doesn’t work and that option has mysteriously un-checked itself in my settings.

Apparently, same happened to me as well. Ctrl-Click just stopped working on the canvas while still perfectly working in the panels outside, like in the Layers tree. I didn’t even know there’s a UI option to turn this off.
