Carousels, Nested Components and Variants

I have a large file with hundreds of card variants for one component. I need to create variants of the cards that are prototyped carousels. I think the carousels need to be their own components but how do I add hundreds of components in another larger component and have them be variants? Can I prototype each Indvidual carousel variant? Thank you!
