I’m sure I’m overlooking something obvious, but I can’t find the panel control that will add boolean properties to a component.

I commonly added boolean controls to Figma components. But maybe the Figma UI has updated recently and now I can’t find the design panel option that will allow the control addition for a component.

When I select the sublayer within the component, I can’t find where I can now associate that layer with a boolean off/on appearance. I hunt through the design panel and can’t see it. What am I missing?

I’ve included a file url below:

Figma – 30 Dec 24

Thank you!

I found the solution.
Just needed to add a bounding frame around the desired layers then the layer boolean options appeared for those interior layers.
