A project was created in a desktop application on Windows and styles for fonts were specified in it via text styles.

The development is carried out on Linux, so I used the browser. but linux doesn’t support windows fonts out of the box, so Figma suggested replacing arial with ?? - a very cool font, so much so that even its name is not displayed. and it applies to all font styles.

who designed this - I have a question for you - are you an idiot? because there is no way to roll back these changes, i.e. Now I have a version of the project that I have to edit manually

How can I open the font replacement window from the desktop version?

Figma Learn - Help Center

I understand correctly what follows from the article - a modal window will appear if there is a conflict with the fonts, but we will not allow you to roll back the changes. Why? so go to hell. The suggestion from the article sounds funny, to create a duplicate, but the warnings that this will affect the entire project file - we are too lazy to write, so here it is. OK
