Hi all,

I’m having trouble adding content into an expansion panel (specifically a table w/ columns and rows). Any tips and tricks I can try?

Hey @Humberto_Gutierrez do you mind sharing a bit more about what you’re looking to do. Not quite sure what you mean by expansion panel. If possible if you could share any screenshots or recordings, we can then point you in the right direction from there. Thanks! 🙂

I’m trying to get them to interact without the overlay.

Hi @Humberto_Gutierrez

Thanks for the screenshot.

It seems like your prototype includes nested instances, but is that correct? If I understand correctly, this could be a feature limitation where changing variants or swapping instances in nested instances doesn’t update their sizes according to the new selections. But there’s a workaround for this.

You can enable auto layout on each variant of your components, which should allow the nested instances to resize correctly. If you’re okay with sharing the file link, I may be able to take a closer look and help you implement this workaround if needed.

I hope it helps!

Thanks,

Toku

Yes, I’d like for them to be nested under each other with some being indented after each other.

@Humberto_Gutierrez thanks for the link! Could you give us the view permission for the file? Probably anyone with the link can view would be fine, if you’re fine!

Thanks,

ahhhh. unfortunately I’m unable to… looks like its blocked via my admin. using my work account to build. 😕

yeah, I’m able to get the panels to expand but they keep overlapping each other instead of moving the other panels below the expansion. 😦

@Humberto_Gutierrez thanks for checking!
