I have components with string properties, and I’ve found that I cannot type “=” into them, as that key opens up the variables menu:
I can get around this obviously by pasting in my desired text or editing the text object directly, but it seems like an accelerator that got added with an oversight to the expected use of that key. I attempted to use modifiers to allow me to type it (Ctrl, Alt, etc.), but they did not work.
