Hello 👋
One of my projects keeps showing this You have unsaved changes dialogue (As if I were offline).
I can open and sync any other project but for some reason, when I want to close this project, the dialogue keeps showing up.
I’m using the desktop app and when I make changes, they do reflect in the webapp. So not sure what’s going on.
Anyone knows how to fix this?

Hey Bernado 👋🏼 Gleb’s advice here is spot on! Syncing offline changes is covered in detail in ‘Can I work offline with Figma?’ and if your work is updated in the Browser, you should be all good to restart the Desktop App to clear that warning.
If you continue to see this warning after restarting the Desktop App, or in both the Desktop App and Browser, you can flag it with the Support Team by using the ‘?’ to ‘Get help’ and we’ll be happy to troubleshoot with you.
Hi! I have his problem since 16 November. When I change something in the project, I see the system message “You have unsaved changes”. I tried to open projects in browser, in app, reload the computer. Nothing helps.
나 또한 same issue를 경험. Thx Figma.)
I lost a day of work because it never synced and kept up saying I had unsaved changes. Tried saving it as a .fig and re-importing but didn’t work (not even on a different computer). After closing the tab and trying to re-open, the project never re-opened unless opening it on another computer or in the browser, but the changes were not there.
I got this working again, I just removed the temp files which was hindering the sync of the file online.
For those who are facing this issue or will face this issue when working on heavy files just remove the temp files (in Mac).
How to clear cache on a Mac | Macworld used this link to do so… Just Look for “How to delete application cache files”. (Please make sure you know what will be the effect of doing this)
I experienced this issue today and i was unable to fix the situation in any way…
At some point I had an idea: I tried to copy from the desktop app all the artboards that were still uploading there (and probably causing the unsaved changes error), and I pasted them into the same page of the same document on a browser tab with Figma opened… it worked! I don’t know how, but worked.
