hi,

I am looking for a way to track and view the date that a specific element was added to figma or figjam canvas by inspecting the item itself. Viewing version history will not suffice. Is this possible, even by way of building my own plug-in? I’m sure the data exists in the back end, I assume I just need a way to expose it. Thanks, mike

No, it is not possible, this data is not exposed anywhere. The best you can do is view all versions of the document through REST API and find a version where this object doesn’t exist yet. The next version will be its creation date.

Hey @Thereal, I made this widget with my brother that might do what you’re looking for? https://www.figma.com/community/widget/1213623021161781856
