Question

Set "Fill container" as a component property

Przemek

Sometimes I have a component that I know will be used only as something filling the container from left to right (or, rarely, from top to bottom).
Unfortunately, I cannot set it until I place the occurrences of this component inside the container. I know it’s logic from the “logical” point of view, but it’s annoying to have to set it for each occurrence every time.

You mean that you want Fill container in the size options to be tied to the component itself, and not the parent container?

A minor issue I think, but yeah, could be nice to set defaults.

Exactly. For example, I design an app with lots of grids. So I have a grid and the “cell” component within should adapt to the column width (always), but the cell component can only have a “fixed” property, so I have to change it every time.
