So I am trying to understand auto layout and contracts. I have designed this simple sign up modal however I want to finish off my design by adding a close (x) icon on the top right but whenever I drop the icon image to my design it automatically sticks to the top left and I can’t move it. What am I missing and how do I move this?

You need to set the correct alignment in the “Alignment and padding” panel in the Auto Layout properties.
