Hi,

One of my files has disappeared from my project.

I found the file in my Recent tab so I tried moving it into my project but I get “You don’t have permission to remove files from this project.”

FYI, my permission level is Owner.


For now, I duplicated the file and moved the copy in my project and it’s working fine. But I’d like to know why this could be happening or the solution to move the original file.

Someone from your team probably moved it to their own project. (Not sure why Figma even allows that.)

Like you said, one member moved the file into their project…we both don’t know how this happened! 😅
