Embedded frames containing any non "pass through" color mode render checkerboard boxes

  1. Describe the problem you’re experiencing:

When embedded frames contain any frame/group/component/layer with a color mode applied (anything other than “pass through” set), the background of the embed goes crazy showing a randomly sized checkerboard box.

Workaround: try and ensure nothing uses color modes in any frame you want to embed. or try and ignore the glitch / tell clients to ignore the glitch…

Does anyone else experience this? Is this the correct place to report bugs?

No, bugs should be reported to Figma support team via the bug report form.
