Sadly, this work around is not easy when you have at least 20 link in a doc and have multiple versions…

Just export pdf no link from figma.
Then open it with foxit reader and use hightlight (shortkey - T) to select text you want put link. Press RIght mouse => create link => Thickness: 0 => next => paste link => done.

THank you so much! It is really helpful!

I put a small visual walkthrough on how to use this Terminal command in Figma community for anyone that isn’t familiar with the command line.

Figma please fix this simple but annoying little thing!

Hi friends, if anyone is looking for another option for resolving this, our TinyImage plugin exports compressed PDFs without any outlines around links by default (you can optionally turn them back on in the plugin settings if needed). Hope it helps someone coming across the thread 😊

Thanks 👍

Solution 3 worked great, thanks a lot!

Hi could you please help me? I am trying this command, but it keeps giving me this message, " ‘sed’ is not recognized as an internal or external command,
operable program or batch file."
What should I do?

sed is only available on unix/mac by default. Maybe this will help: windows - Is there any sed like utility for cmd.exe? - Stack Overflow

Or see my answer for alternative solutions: Bug: Exporting to PDF adds a random box around my links - #3 by Gleb

Thank you!

Also having this issue when uploading a PDF to LinkedIn as a résumé.

tom_longmate

Here’s what worked for me:

  • VSCode (or other text editor): find & replace all instances of

    /Rect

    with

    /BS<</S/S/Type/Border/W 0>>/Border[0 0 0]/Rect
