When going to click on the Inspector pane tabs (Design / Prototype / Inspect), I frequently click on an avatar dropdown by mistake, taking me to a different tab:
There is a small hover delay on the avatar already, but it’s not enough to prevent this issue. Increasing the delay would help.

We tried to reproduce this behavior and so far, the drop-down only appears and blocks the other tabs when hovering over an avatar in the top toolbar first. We’ll continue to play around with this behavior and see if others in the community have similar issues.

Yes, that’s correct. It only happens when the mouse moves to the Inspector tabs from above, such as when you’ve just clicked on a tab. Still happens often enough in my experience to be an annoyance.
