Component instance and clipping mask

Hello everyone,

I am new to Figma coming from XD. I am in the process of creating components in a new project. One of the components contains an image that I have clipping masked at the top. Every time i create a new instance of the component i can change the image but i cannot move the image inside the component!

How do i do this?

We’re having the same issue! Hoping someone has a solution to this – it really interrupts our workflow and system.

I have managed to find a fix for this! If you hold CMD+OPT then double click the image you can move it.
