How to fix element position after click interaction?

Dear community,

I have a download button that moves its position to the right, after I clicked on it, because the text inside of the button changes after the click interaction from “download our newsletter” to “downloaded”.

As you can see the button size reduces after the click interaction. I want the button to stay aligned to the top right of my frame. How can I fix the postion after an interacion?

Thanks in advance

Hi @jon.luhmann, Thank you for reaching out about your prototype. It can be challenging to pinpoint the issue without seeing your actual prototype, but I’m here to help as best as I can.

Based on your description, it seems that the the button is resizing dependent on the text.

Is your goal to have the button always stay in the top right corner of the frame, regardless of its width?
If so, it would be a good idea to review the auto layout alignment settings of the parent frame of the button.

Alternatively, if you want to keep the button size fixed, then, I suggest checking the auto layout resizing settings of the parent frame that contains the text layer. If it’s set to “Hug contents,” try switching it to “Fixed width” to see if there’s any difference.

For more detailed information on these settings, please check out:

If you’re still facing difficulties after exploring these resources, could you please share a video recording that shows the issue? Showing the entire window, including the Properties and Layers Panel with the relevant layers expanded, would be incredibly helpful.
This may allow our experienced community members to provide more specific advice.

If anyone from our community has any additional insights or suggestions, please feel free to join the conversation.

Thanks again for reaching out!
