Slide reference links in Figma slides do not update when slides are moved around

I’m creating a deck where we are using links on text to navigate to other pages throughout the deck. I’d expect these reference links to the slide to automatically update if I move a slide to a different location in the deck, but it looks like it’s stuck on the exact slide number no matter what.

So if I have a text link on a page that is meant to go to “slide 53” and add 2 slides between 50 and 53, the original slide 53 is now 56. However, the link on the text is now going to the new slide on 53 vs the original which is now 56…

So if we move pages, or add pages throughout the deck, all of the reference links are broken and we need to manually adjust them to the new slide numbers, which is pretty frustrating.
