  1. Describe the problem your experiencing and how your idea helps solve this

We have two style libraries for different product versions. In the newer one, we used a suffix to distinguish styles from the other, e.g. bg/base vs bg/base(ig). We have removed the suffix recently and re-published the newer library to apply Figma Swap Library, however, we noticed that in some files that introduced the newer styles, the suffix was not removed properly, which led to ‘none found’ of these styles.

We also located those none-found styles and imported them again with ‘figma.importStyleByKeyAsync()’ and this would cause styles being detached (Everything looks fine from outer frames but on the exact layer the style becomes a hex value).

  1. Add as much context as possible (screenshots, Figma files, mockups, etc.)

  2. Ask questions to bring the community into the conversation
(e.g. Does anyone else experience this? Is anyone using a plugin or workaround to help solve this?, etc.

Many thanks!
