I copied a set of shapes, text, and links from FigJam to Figma. Here is the FigJam

Everything looked fine, but I was not sure why some of the things copied were components and some were not. Then I wanted to create a component of this whole matrix of stuff so I could annotate over multiple instances in different ways while also being able to edit the matrix in one place. So I grouped the objects and made a component.
What happened is some of the stuff in the group went into the new component and all the components got pushed out. Like this:
I canโt move those boxes and lines that got pushed out into the new component. Can someone explain what is happening here and how I can just create a component of this whole matrix of text, shapes, and links?
